Initial Comment:
When I launch Pd-extended 0.43 2011-11-15 32-bit on Mac OS X 10.6.8/Intel, then open delete-help.pd, exists-help.pd, etc. I get this error from Tcl, then Pd-extended quits:
(Tcl) INVALID COMMAND NAME: invalid command name "Pt_Start()"
while executing
"Pt_Start() called"
("uplevel" body line 1)
invoked from within
"uplevel #0 $cmd_from_pd"
This crash seems to really be a Tcl panic triggering a quit. Ideally, tclpd would catch the panic and just have the (Tcl) dump to the Pd window. Here's the backtrace:
