Pd 0.43.1-extended 20120810
Mac OS X 10.7.4/Intel

My system has locale set to Austria (System Preferences -> Language & Text -> Formats), but the first language on (System Preferences -> Language & Text -> Language) is English. All other apps on my system run in English, but Pd runs in German. 

Pd should allow the Language setting to override the Locale.
