Initial Comment:
the plugins-plugin [1] can be used to selectively disable/enable gui plugins.

this works great for single-file plugins (e.g. installed as "~/pd-externals/foo-plugin.tcl")

unfortunately it doesn't work with plugins that are not contained within a directory (e.g. "~/pd-externals/foo/plugin/bar-plugin.tcl").

tested on linux with 0.43.2
