Should the input come out the left outlet or the right one?

If it comes out the left one...
Should [pointer foo bar( send "foo bar" to the left outlet as well?

If so that would be inconsistent behavior.

If not then route would treat an anything message with the selector
"pointer" different than all the other anything messages it receives.
Maybe that's ok.

Thoughts?
