hi,

you should tell ./configure script where pd resides to help it finding
Gem's abstractions.
just reconfigure with something :
./configure --with-pd=/usr/include/pd
Of course, change the path according to where Pd-extended put the headers.

Also there is a discussion concerning this in the mailing list but I can't
find it again now...
