OK… I think this was occurring due to a network issue my end. It was a coincidence it worked yesterday on macOS not Linux. Today, I had the same error on macOS and also couldn’t access puredata.info <http://puredata.info/>. Switching to a different network (tethered mobile) resolved the problem.
