i'd like to bring the 'develop' branch to your attention. as usual i
consider it "safe"
   https://github.com/pure-data/pure-data/pull/1354

i would also like to bring the "bugfix/file" branch to your attention
   https://github.com/pure-data/pure-data/pull/1361

this PR *does* add a new feature¹, namely shared file-handles using
[file define].
practical experiments have shown, that when parsing files, this addition
greatly simplifies the code.

¹ "new feature" relative to the current 'master' branch. In Pd-0.51
there was no [file] object at all, so the actual "big new feature" was
already introduced back in july.
