control a CD rom in real time

Hi,
    I'm enthusiastic for the PD software. I'm a Max user, but now I work with PC and I'm using the NT version of PD, so I'm interested to control a CD rom from PD. Anyone have develop an object to control the cd in real time (as in Max)?
