Actually what I would like to see is <Ctrl-A -> Audio on> and <Ctrl-A -> Audio
off> again.

Why ?

- Its on the left hand (right hand holds the mouse .. (sorry klaus and all other
left- handers))
- Most of the time one can hear if audio is on ..
- Sometimes audio off has to be fast and easy accessible :)

but probably costumizable keybindings would be another improvement  ??
really a matter of taste ...
