Any point in recompiling pd 0.27 for NT w/ VC6

I suppose this question is best targeted for Miller, but if anyone else konws 
the answer, please let me know.   Is pd 0.27 compiled with VC5 or VC6.  If 
VC5, does VC6 generate suffeciently better code to warrant the effort?
