Pd on W98 -- beware

lieber boris.
unter windows ist pd (was ich so mitgekriegt habe) immer etwas holprig
zu fahren. trotzdem sollte es möglich sein.
tatsache ist, dass pd einen schnellen prozessor benötigt. ich habe es
zum laufen gebracht mit einem pentium 90 MHz aber das war schon am
limit. ich schätze, du kennst dich schon aus mit den flags (siehe unten,
haben sich zum teil geringfügig verändert) und ich habe damals den
maximalen audiobuffer verwendet (580), die niedrigste samplerate, die
die soundkarte vertragen hat (8000 bzw. 11025) und ich glaube, sogar
anfangs nur den ausgang verwendet (-nodac) und dann war´s noch immer so,
dass ich keine komplizierten patches schreiben konnte, und wehe ich
wollte ein fenster verschieben...
ich habe nun einen P2 mit 400 MHz und das tut ihm schon viel besser,
in-out funktioniert schon mit einer pufferzeit von nur etwa 100 ms
(abhängig von der samplerate) und auch sonst ist das ganze ding
stabiler. 
soviel einmal zur performance und rechnerleistung. ich fürchte fast,
dass das unter linux gar nicht viel besser ist (mit einem normalen PC),
die meisten leute, die pd unter linux laufen haben, haben
andere/schnellere prozessoren... (ist zumindest meine meinung).
wenn du andere erfahrungen machen solltest, wäre das super!
jedenfalls verursacht alles andere resync-probleme.
