announcement: mp3 player for pd

hi list,

thomas musil and me have written an mp3 Layer III player external 
for pd.

you can download it at ftp://iem/pd/Externals/MP3/d_mp3.tgz

for now it works under linux only. and looking at the version
number 0.1 you can imagine how long the TODO List is ... 
it compiles and runs fine at my debian potato box running pd 0.30, 
any other test reports are welcome.

TODO list: in the long run we plan to add encoder and streaming
objects but dont expect to find it ready within the next 2 weeks...
