Hi Nick,
I use an RME 9636 (aka Hammerfall lite card) with pd, with an external
ADAT DA converter (Swissonic DA24), 8 balanced outs, it works fine with
native drivers.
About spatialization, there's the vbap external in Guenter Geiger's
ggext external library, didn't try it but I'm interested too about
spatialization tecniques (I'll follow the B. Truax and Ircam workshop
about spatialization tecniques at the ICMC2000 in Berlin).
