Hello, we use pd with multichannel on RME9652 and RME9636 since last summer with good results using the native rmedriver (kernel 2.2.15). I hope soon there is the ALSA-driver working. We are doing 3D-ambisonic (8 channel) to 16 channel mapping. Using mainly FOSTEX-VC8 ADDA converters. mfg winfried
