4 channel sound and SGI O2

Hi

Is there any special trick I have to do to make PD run with 4 channel
output on an O2 (apart from recompiling)?? The machine is a 'standard' O2
with no extra sound hardware.

Right now I just get the same signal through both outputs (RCA LR and
headphonephone jack).
