Porting from Jmax to Pd and back is painful but possible. Some of the
object definitions have changed; for instance there's a "gate" object
in jmax which appears (with its inlets in the more logical order) as
"spigot" in Pd. You'll probably have to make a library of abstractions to
fill in teh holes.
Pd can read and write Max files; just select a ".pat" extension instead
of "Pd".
