Fw: serial io on NT

Dear pd list,

RE: serial object

Did I ask a foolish question (I often do) - any hints on the use of the
serial object, or, where should I have looked in the first place?

On another note - I seem to have quantisation noise or something similar on
output from pd to a SoundBlaster AWE64. Output to my Soundscape Mixtreme
card is perfect - any clues?

I am new to pd and am enjoying it so far - any help greatly appreciated!
