 selection is done via mouse and sorta need the mousedown coordinates ..
further you could assume that when you blindly construct a patch, you dont need
the object coordinates at all, they could all overlap ...

so, it would need to be possible to select an object (implying connection) by
linenumber in the patchfile or something ..
