Pro Tools and pd

 |I have still not solved the problem with pd and ProTools LE + Digi 001

 |The Pro Tools program is not at all running while I try to start pd. I get a message:

 |wave out open devis -1 +0
 |Wave out open device: MMSYSTEM004. Unit is allready in use. Wait untill ...    and try again.
 |
 |I had looked forward to this new computer with pro Tools and pd ....

maybe protools is running wicked demons / startonstartup programs in the
backyard which are blocking the dev. have a look into the task-exploder ... ?

is there something like
lsof (8)             - list open files

in dosss?
