with -lib option you should of course try /correct/path/to/lib instead of
/correct/path/to/lib.pd_linux
maybe this should be fixed sometimes...
to get more output that might help us to identify the problem you maybe
should start pd with the -verbose option (in fact, this is the very first
thing i do on every pd-machine : add "-verbose" to the .pdrc)
