[PD] gem blocks tablet - problem solved!

  Aah!!  Sorry I thought you understood how it works.

  gemtablet was originally created for an installation that an artist had
and they didn't want the user to be able to interact with the computer as
though the tablet is a mouse.  Because of this, I lock the tablet to just
work in the gem window itself.

  That is a good idea to expand the functionality to have an option to just
behave like a normal mouse.
