[PD] saving arrays

Hello all,

When the "save contents" box in the array creation dialog box is
checked, how (and where) are the contents of the array saved?  As part
of the patch that it is in?  I noticed that if you save the patch, the
contents of the array are saved as well.  However, if the patch
containing the array is nested inside another patch, if you save the
parent patch, the contents of the array (inside the sub-patch) are not
saved.  Is there a way to save the contents of the patch remotely, other
than saving it to a text file?
