[PD] downsampling ???

hi all !

has anybody tried out my pd-patch to enable downsampling in sub-patches
via the block~ object ?
 (i posted the patch 1 month ago)
 (i have put another patch for pd-0.34 on ftp://iem.kug.ac.at/pd/misc )
 (you can find a patched windos version pd-033-updown-nt.zip somewhere at
ftp://iem.kug.ac.at/pd/WIN/OLD )

does anybody believe that it is a good idea to have something like this ?
does anybody sees a real need for such things ?
