[PD] Writing text files in pd?

Hi list, I was wondering if anyone could answer me
this simple question. I am using qlist to generate a
text file which consists of hundreds of numbers. These
numbers are been sent to a number box, ok, what do i
do next I have tried hooking the number boxes to the
add message box but obvioulsy this will only write
whatever text is in the add message box to the text
file, is there a variable symbol that will work in
message boxes?
