[PD] gems on linux

Hi

I've been a max-msp user for more than
6 years now but i'm very new to PD

i've allready install PD-GEMS on my
windows 98 and it works great.

but in linux, i only have audio working.
no midi and no gems.

i put the gem.dll file in the object folder
(like with windows) but it doen't seem 2 be d case
4 linux.

and is there somewhere instructions on how 2
setup midi for linux?
