[PD] compiling with mingw / cygwin (windows and pipeio)

Hi smoerk, hi Miller, hi Krzysztof and others!

Well, I tried cygwin and mingw but couldn't get things compiled. Today I
tried vc++6.0 and it worked quite well. Maybe I made a few huge mistakes
while trying to compile with Borland C Builder, Cygwin and mingw, but vc6
seems to be 'foolproof' (even my cheapest and most simple version did the
job).
I think on www.pure-data.org it says cygwin could be used. As I sad, I
couldn't figure out how to do it. One thing is that one has to recompile Pd
to get .obj files that are compatible with Cygwin (or any other compiler
other than vc++6.0). One of my problems was getting a mmsystem.h (which is
not included with cygwin) that did the job. There seem to be minor
differences from compiler to compiler. Borland, e.g., has some special
elements added to the c language that can not be found in vc++....

... but many hanks for the help concerning my compile questions!
