Following on from the success of the 1999 festival POLAROID,
which crossed new boundaries in presenting contemporary 
classical music and electronica in a club environment,
the Arches present INSTAL.

INSTAL will feature leading international experimental musicians,
together with a full and challenging programme of contemporary 
classical works, presented in promenade style in the unique 
confines of the Arches.

Artists appearing include ROBERT LIPPOCK of To Rococo Rot, Austrian
laptop genius FENNESZ, from New York ICEBREAKER INTERNATIONAL of 
NATOarts fame, and UK sound artist and vinyl manipulator PHILIP JECK.
