really, in PD? you do know that pd is midi/dsp processing software, right?

anyhow, many people do very interesting conceptual projects with pd so
it's completely plausible that this is really what you want to do :)...

but you'd really just use the [*] object, so i think i'll wait for
confirmation that this is really what you want before i go into verbose
detail... :)
