[PD] floating point soundfiles

Hey everybody on the list,

i'm new on the list and with pd. The first problem i have is how to read floating point soundfiles.
With samplitude i recorded soundfiles in floating point format. (my D/A converter does 24 bits);
now i want to load in PD. I tried to load this soundfile with the element "soundfiler" but get a heather mistake. is it possible somehow to load a floating point soundfile in PD ?
