[PD] no -lttf during config for GEM

Freetype should be the package that provides the ttf library.
Take a look if you have something like

/usr/lib/libttf.so or
/usr/local/lib/libttf.so

- if you don't have them, you have a problem with the freetype
installation.
Probably there are some development packages for libttf, or ,..

- if you have them there could be a problem with the configure script
