[PD] compiling pd35-test4

I'm trying to compile pd35-test4 under linux and its failing very early. 
I have both tcl/tk 8.0 and 8.3.4 installed:

/usr/local/lib/libtcl8.0.so  /usr/local/lib/libtcl8.3.so  
/usr/local/lib/libtclstub8.3.a /usr/local/lib/libtk8.0.so  
/usr/local/lib/libtk8.3.so  /usr/local/lib/libtkstub8.3.a

yet make exits with:

cd ../obj; cc -I. -o ../bin/pd-gui t_main.o t_tkcmd.o \
-ltk8.3 -ltcl8.3 
t_main.o: In function `main':
t_main.o(.text+0x9f): undefined reference to `Tk_Main'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [../bin/pd-gui] Error

any ideas?
