[PD] pd subpatches always open on open of parent ?

Hi, I've got a question which probably has already been answered
(sorry).

It seems that whenever I load a patch that uses a "pd *" style subpatch,
the subpatch window always opens as well, when the main patch is loaded.
Is there a way to set this, and/or is there something I'm doing wrong?
Just want to avoid the screen clutter and the nusiance of having to
click-close the subpatch when I don't want to see it...
