[PD] A question or two and a PD related (music) release

Hi,

When I read in a file using soundfiler is there anyway of finding 
out either the sample rate of the sample or the length in milliseconds
of the sample?

Are there any spatial positioning plugins for PD - ambisonics or the 
like?
