[PD] win9x/me/xp

Hey,

I'm trying to get pd to run on a windows 9x machene, and with versions 3.4 and 3.5 of PD, I am getting an error on start up that says midiin device is out of range for your computer.  

I've tried -nomidiin, and that gets rid of the error, but MIDIIN still doesn't work...so that doesn't really solve the problem.  

Midiin worked in previeous versions of PD.  Is there any way to fix this so that I have midiin?
