[PD] what is the current state of the support for the Alsa Hammerfall driver?

It seems I'll just have to try it out and see ;-). Btw, did you try to
use .asoundrc file in your home dir? Possibly that would address the
issue, since Hammerfall does not have a hardware mixer, so it has to be
addressed differently.
