[PD] loadbang for externals

Hi list,
i realized that, contrary to Max, the loadbang method of an external is not
triggered upon object creation.
I'd stick more to the Max behavior (and would emulate this in the flext C++
layer), but i guess there were good reasons for the pd style. Can you give
me some pros or cons so that i can decide how to handle that?
