i was wondering is it possible to render characters with text3d(gem) using ascii/ansi codes ?

i would generate numbers with pd and then send them to text3d, and it would render them with the corresponding character from loaded font... (ex. ansicode 77 = "M")
(info: http://www.hclrss.demon.co.uk/demos/ansi.html)

if this is not possible, would it be "hard" to implement :)

also, it would be nice to render sentences using array/list of numbers...
