[PD] pd 0.35 on linux

I'm having problems running any version of pd 0.35
higher than test 3? It will compile fine but when I
run pd I just get the main window but I am unable to
open anything at all. The funny thing was that 'test
17' was working up till yesterday, but now nothing?
I'm happy to wait until the next release for a newer
version, although this is strange behaviour?
