[PD] test24 box size

ok,

i've got/know only windows machines... i can make *FON files for windows...
i can also make *FNT and *BDF files... so i KNOW how to make bitmapfonts for
windows. but i've never made/used fonts @ mac/linux.... so, i would need
help "compiling" to mac/linux format...

*FON file contains several FNT files so it can contain several size versions
of the character. (and its the bitmap font format used by win32).
*FNT file is a set of bitmap characters of 1 ascii table so it contains only
1 size version of the character.
*BDF file, as far as i know is a bitmapfont for x windows (similar to FNT)

i still need to KNOW 100% what format(s) mac/linux reads as bitmapfonts...
and how they are installed... any info people ?

but in windows installing is easy, just copy the font to windows/fonts. and
to uninstall, just delete from windows/fonts...

...

but if some1 came with an idea for NOT using fonts by OS "font display
driver" then we could use only 1 file for any OS :)

cheers
-andre
