[PD] pd 0.35 test 23 and 26

Hi Ben,
I wish I could guess what's wrong here... it sounds as if Pd is opening
/dev/dsp in some new way, but I'm at a loss to imagine how... I'll look at
the sources and see if I can guess the difference.
