OK
i tried to fix the configure stuff yesterday, but somewhat was in a
hurry and ended up with "openGL is mandatory" (which it is not)

i will continue today...and hope i will get it fixed (at least for ben)

the glm-"library" (it is one c-file) is stripped of the glut-example.
it just provides an object-loader and i found it much more elegant than
the old one (which was broken on linux then (hahahaha))

give me 3-4 hours (i have to do a presentation right now)
