In fact the pix_video seems to have changed in different ways,

one of it, the default is VIDEO_MODE_AUTO, which might mean some
auto detection

then there is no norm message, but a "mode" message which sets <norm> and
<mode>, like "mode PAL  0" or "mode NTSC 0"
the mode numbers are
0 for Composite
1 for Tuner

... I don know who implemented this and how the norm message got lost,
but probably it was me working on a pix_video that was out of date ?

it makes more sense to have norm and mode separated though,
--> TODO for the next gem release+ improvement of documentation.
