[PD] low color.depth in gemwin

 hi this is jakob with a question

i just installed pd+gem on my machine
(pd 0.78 / win 2000 )
so far everything was fine
but when i play a movi (avi)on the gemwin 
it looks kind of strange-
the colordepth seams to be to low-
something like 256 colores


i saw the samme material on a nother machine of a friend (pd) but there it was running quite well

what could be the reason for that effekt
maybe sombody has solution for that problem
