[PD] recording gem output or framestein&gem

Hi

As far as i know there's no object for recording GEMs video output like 
there is in Framestein. Is it possible to use Framestein to record GEMs 
video output? Put other way: is it possible to combine gem and 
framestein opcodes to use the best of both libraries at the same time 
for image generation in the same rendering window? I hope this is not a 
stupid question.
