[PD] sending data to Pd with UDP

Hi, I'm quite new to this whole Pd thingy.
I'm trying to send data to Pd over the network using
winsocket and UDP, but it doesn't seem to work. When I
tried receiving stuff from Pd then it did work.
Basically I'm just sending a character array using the
winsocket sendto function. Does anyone know how to get
this to work?
