i must make this caveat public :

* yes, mp3amp~ ( as well as shoutamp~ i guess ) sometimes
fails to connect, decodes in a looping mode or crashes,
unfortunately these errors are located in the decoding library
( mpglib ) and i am still looking for one that really runs smoothly.

i'm afraid there's not much i can do about it.
i'll try to fix it but that's a tough matter.
