I've also got problem with midi in PD.
while sending full speed midi data, I've got a flush message with slow
computers.
So PD can't receive full speed midi messages on slow computer (I don't know
the limit between slow and fast computer)

For I cube, the solution can be (???) an analog filter between  sensor and
Icube, to reduce noise, and then reduce midi data transfer.
