[PD] [soundfiler] problem?

Hello all,

I'm noticing a strange behavior from [soundfiler].

1.  Read a file that exists on the drive i get message: read whatever.txt and succeeded.
2.  Write to a file that exists on the drive i get message: write whatever.txt and failed.  (But I open the file in a text editor, I can determine that my changes have been written successfully).
