hello theres,

there are some objects for sound visualization around, see
Sonogram~ and cooled~ by Yves Degoyon http://ydegoyon.free.fr/

the framestein library http://www.framestein.org/
by Juha Vehviläinen - has a sonogam too.

you may also use fiddle~ to detect the pitch(es) of incoming sound,
and build up or alter data structures depending on its output.
