[PD] Video input on PD for Windows?

Hi!

AFAIK pix_video on in GEM on windows is highly unstable. I tried it a
couple of times with a Quickcam VC (USB) but I've never catched more than
one frame (on win2k). I never got to look deep in the video capture code.
